The mobile game Pokémon Go has gotten big earning. The lifetime earnings of this game offered by Niantic have reached 3.6 billion. This earning is from 6 July 2016 till the launch of the game. The mobile intelligence firm Sensor Tower has given its information.
Explain that in this game players have to go out and catch virtual Pokémon from their surroundings. However, during the Corona virus lockdown, the company added this feature for indoor. This has only benefited the game.
Pokémon Go Effective Earnings
For the brand, the game earned $ 44.5 million (about Rs 3,330.5 crore) in the first quarter of 2020. According to the report of the sensor tower, Pokémon Go has got a tough fight with the Dragon Quest Walk. Dragon Quest Walk has a collection of $ 54 million (about Rs 4,041.8 crore).
This collection is from September last year till now. Jurassic World Alive has collected $ 7.65 million (about Rs 572.5 crore) in the last two years. At the same time, Tencent’s collection of Hunt Hunt Monsters has been $ 7 million (about Rs 523.8 crore). The game launched on iOS in April last year.
Pokémon Go has been downloaded a total of 57.67 million times till the news is written. Of which 105.5 million downloads are in the US alone, where the game is very popular. Additionally, this game has been downloaded 6.3 million in Brazil and 3.6 million downloads in Mexico.

A large part of Pokémon Go’s revenue comes from the Google Play store, with 53.6 percent of its total players. The game has received 45 crore downloads through Google Play accounts, which is 78.3 percent of the total downloads.
During the lock-down, there were speculations that the game might face a downfall, as it is a location-based game. However, the company saved it by changing the strategy at the right time. The company released several updates during the lock-down, allowing people to enjoy the game indoors as well.
